There are currently two known issues when profiling displays on the new Mac OS X High Sierra 10.13 operating system. We anticipate having a software update soon to provide a permanent solution for these problems. Until then, please use the following suggestions.
X-Rite Linear profile is not loading at the start of patch measurement. This linear profile is used to disengage any previous color management to ensure that the display is outputting color in its native state. This can lead to the software creating a poor profile
Please follow the instructions below each time you profile your monitor to guarantee a good profile:
Use the link below to download the “XRite_LinearProfile.icc.zip” file. If you use Safari to download, Safari will unzip it into your Downloads folder.
Copy and paste the unzipped “XRite_LinearProfile.icc” profile to the Mac HD\Library\ColorSync\Profiles folder. Close Finder.
Open “Displays” in System Preferences and select the “Color” tab. Uncheck the “Show profiles for this display only” option. Click on the profile named “DisplayProfile_Linear.icc” to reset your display’s RGB channels to a linear fashion. The onscreen color should change and will likely look bad.
Close Displays and System Preferences.
Connect your X-Rite device and open it’s corresponding profiling software application.

The newly created display profile is not being applied to the display at completion. In order to take advantage of your newly created profile, do the following:
Go to System Preferences > Displays > and click on the “Color” tab
Monitor profile will then load
We recommend you engage auto update so you will immediately receive an update once it is posted.
